&TEAM Releases Second Studio Album 'Yukiakari'

On December 18, 2024, the K-pop group &TEAM (앤팀) unveiled their second studio album titled 'Yukiakari' (雪明かり/유키아카리). The term 'Yukiakari' refers to the phenomenon where light reflects off snow, illuminating the surroundings, and it represents the winter chapter of their seasonal album series. This series began with 'Samidare' (五月雨/사미다레) for spring, followed by 'Aoarashi' (嵐/아오아라시) for summer, and 'Jyuugoya' (十五夜/쥬고야) for autumn.

As the grand finale of the series, 'Yukiakari' symbolizes a new beginning and hope for the nine boys, who have grown closer through their shared experiences across the seasons. The album features a total of 22 tracks, including the title track 'Yukiakari', four new songs such as 'Deer Hunter', 'illumination', and 'crescent moon's wish' (三日月の願い), as well as Korean versions of 'Yukiakari' and 'Deer Hunter', alongside 16 previously released songs.

The album boasts an impressive lineup of producers, including Vincenzo, Bang Si-hyuk, and Soma Genda, who have crafted hits for various K-pop artists. Notable hitmakers like Cirkut, known for his work with Miley Cyrus and BTS (방탄소년단), also contributed to the project.

The title track 'Yukiakari' begins with an emotional guitar riff that transitions into a dynamic melody, capturing the boys' confidence in embarking on a new journey together. The track 'Deer Hunter' metaphorically represents the boys' growth as they take their first steps into adulthood, likening their journey to that of wolves, complemented by a dark pop sound and the members' captivating vocals. The pre-released track 'illumination' is a medium-tempo ballad that enhances the winter vibe with its soft melody and romantic lyrics.

Additionally, the album features &TEAM's first fan song, 'crescent moon’s wish', expressing the members' commitment to continue walking alongside their fandom, LUNÉ (루네).

Following the album's release, &TEAM plans to engage in various activities, including a showcase in Tokyo, Japan, on December 19 to celebrate the album launch, and participation in the '2024 Asia Artist Awards' in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 27, where they will meet global fans.
