Taeyeon Successfully Wraps Up Bangkok Concert
Taeyeon (태연) of Girls' Generation (소녀시대), under SM Entertainment, has successfully concluded her concert in Bangkok. From May 31 to June 1, she held the 'TAEYEON CONCERT - The TENSE in BANGKOK' at the IMPACT ARENA. Following her previous concert, 'The ODD Of LOVE,' Taeyeon made history as the first Korean female solo artist to hold back-to-back solo concerts at this venue, showcasing her immense popularity in the region.
The Bangkok concert featured a meticulously designed stage similar to her domestic performances, complete with a three-tier setup, a massive 46m x 10m LED screen, a 6m conveyor belt, seven lifts, 14 laser units, color-controlled official light sticks, eight types of confetti, and a 13m translucent curtain, enhancing the overall production quality.
In a heartfelt gesture, Taeyeon included handwritten messages and illustrations on the confetti, expressing her love for her fans with notes like "Today, new memories were made ♡," "Thank you for being here in this moment," and "TAEYEON NEEDS S♡NE FOREVER." She even infused the confetti with her signature fragrance, creating a unique memento for attendees.
The local fan club, S♡NE, prepared various surprises for Taeyeon, including rose-shaped headbands, headbands featuring her character 'TAENGGEU' (탱그), and banners with slogans such as "PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE - ALWAYS WITH TAEYEON" and "10 years with TAEYEON MY LIFE IS A BEAUTY," lighting up the venue with their support.
At the end of the concert, Taeyeon shared, "This concert is particularly meaningful as it celebrates my 10th anniversary as a solo artist. I’m thrilled to meet Bangkok S♡NE in this special year. I hope we can continue together for a long time, just as you always say, 'Let’s last a long time.' Even after more than ten years, seeing you all holding your light sticks still makes me nervous. Your immense love always overwhelms me, and I’ve been eagerly waiting for concert days. Although there’s only one tour left, I will cherish this precious time with you until the end."
Taeyeon is set to conclude her sixth solo concert tour on June 7 at the AsiaWorld–Arena in Hong Kong.
