Taekwondo Olympic Medalist Under Investigation for Assaulting Former Tennis National Team Member

A Taekwondo Olympic medalist, referred to as A, is currently under investigation for allegedly assaulting former national tennis team member B. The Gangnam Police Department reported on December 29 that the incident occurred between 11 PM and midnight on December 28 in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, during a drunken argument that escalated into violence. B was taken to the hospital but was released shortly after, as there were no significant injuries. A has voluntarily accompanied the police for further investigation. A is known for his numerous victories in international competitions, while B has transitioned to coaching after his national team career. The two have previously appeared together on a variety show.
