Super Junior's Eunhyuk to Release First Solo Album After 20 Years

Eunhyuk of Super Junior is set to release his first solo mini-album titled ‘EXPLORER(익스플로러)’ on January 27 at 6 PM KST across various online music platforms. This marks a significant milestone as it comes 20 years after his debut.

The album ‘EXPLORER’ is a solo project that creatively blends musical influences from the 1990s with contemporary ideas, showcasing Eunhyuk's unique vision of ‘retrotopia’ that connects the past and present through imagery and sound.

The tracklist includes the title song ‘UP N DOWN(업 앤 다운)’, along with ‘A-yo(에이-요)’, ‘TRAP(트랩)’, ‘You & I (Feat. 규현)(유 앤 아이)’, ‘Step By Step(스탭 바이 스탭)’, ‘Second Chances(세컨드 챈시스)’, and a special track titled ‘있을까’. Each song reflects Eunhyuk's growth and musical exploration over the past two decades.

Eunhyuk aims to highlight the energy of previous eras while delivering a refined musical message. Ahead of the album's release, he shared insights about ‘EXPLORER’ in a Q&A session.

In response to how he feels about releasing a solo album after 20 years, Eunhyuk expressed excitement and nervousness, likening it to a fresh debut. He hopes to showcase the New Jack Swing and hip-hop genres that he loved in his youth, aiming to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
