Sulli's Brother Calls Out Kim Soo-hyun, References Film 'Real'

On March 23, Sulli's brother, referred to as A, made headlines by seemingly targeting actor Kim Soo-hyun in a social media post. He wrote, "My life, your life, everyone's life is 'Real,'" and added a comment stating, "It's the epitome of despair." This reference to 'Real' is believed to connect to the film in which both Sulli and Kim Soo-hyun starred together.

Earlier, on March 21, A had posted a message that hinted at Kim Soo-hyun, saying, "Kim has a lot to say but can't. Hold on tight; you might fall from a high place." Many netizens speculated that A was indeed referring to Kim Soo-hyun, prompting calls for him to refrain from such posts.

In response, A expressed frustration, stating, "How can fans be so unhelpful? I never even mentioned Soo-hyun's name, yet you all come rushing in. You must be going crazy without proper fact-checking. I've lived for years with the understanding that 'it couldn't be helped,' and that has been somewhat of a comfort to me."

He further commented, "Even if it weren't me, others would be facing difficulties. I won't speak out because it wouldn't change the facts or help you. I hope you all just move along without stirring things up. It's quite unpleasant to see my sister's name still being brought up in discussions. How can fans be so unhelpful?"

The film 'Real' was released in June 2017 and marked Kim Soo-hyun's last project before his military enlistment, as well as Sulli's final film. Directed by Lee Sa-rang, a co-founder of Kim Soo-hyun's agency Goldmedalist, the film gained attention for its intimate scenes featuring the two actors.

Recently, Kim Soo-hyun has been embroiled in controversy regarding allegations of a relationship with the late Kim Sae-ron, which reportedly began when she was a minor. A YouTube channel claimed they dated for six years, while Kim Soo-hyun's agency contends that their relationship started when she was an adult in the summer of 2019 and lasted until fall 2020.
