Stray Kids Unveils Powerful Charisma with New Album '合 (HOP)'

Stray Kids has revealed additional concept photos for their upcoming album '合 (HOP)' (합 (합)), showcasing their striking presence and charisma. The group is set to release their new album SKZHOP HIPTAPE (스키즈합 힙테이프) '合 (HOP)' along with the title track 'Walkin On Water' (워킨 온 워터) on December 13 at 2 PM EST (midnight KST). JYP Entertainment shared individual teaser images on their official social media channels on November 21, highlighting the members' confident attitudes.

In the photos, Stray Kids poses confidently against a backdrop of red, blue, and black, exuding a photogenic charm. The calligraphy of 'HOP' on the floor and the traditional patterns on their suits capture attention, heightening curiosity about the new album's concept.

The name SKZHOP HIPTAPE combines the group's initials 'SKZ' with hip-hop, hinting at a unique new genre that Stray Kids is set to explore. The first release '合 (HOP)' symbolizes the unity of the eight members and plays on the dual meaning of 'HOP' in the hip-hop genre. The group's producing team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, has been instrumental in shaping the group's distinctive musical identity, and all members participated in the creation of this album, adding depth to their sound.

The album features the title track 'Walkin On Water', along with songs like 'Bounce Back' (바운스 백), 'U (Feat. TABLO)' (유 (피처링 타블로)), and 'Walkin On Water (HIP Ver.)' (힙 버전). Additionally, it includes solo stage tracks from their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE'' (도미네이트) such as 'Railway' (방찬), 'Unfair' (필릭스), 'HALLUCINATION' (아이엔), 'Youth' (리노), 'So Good' (현진), 'ULTRA' (창빈), 'Hold my hand' (한), and '그렇게, 천천히, 우리' (승민) as bonus tracks.

Stray Kids continues to assert their influence in the global music scene, having won awards at major ceremonies like the People’s Choice Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards earlier this year. Recently, their song 'SLASH' (슬래시) was featured in the soundtrack for the film 'Deadpool & Wolverine', which has been nominated for the 'Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media' at the 67th Grammy Awards. The prestigious Grammy ceremony will take place on February 2 in Los Angeles.
