Stray Kids to Perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards for the Second Consecutive Year

Stray Kids will take the stage as performers at the '2024 Billboard Music Awards' (2024 BBMAs) for the second year in a row. The announcement was made on December 9 via the official social media channels of the Billboard Music Awards, confirming that the event will take place on December 12 in Los Angeles, USA. This marks Stray Kids' continued presence at one of America's top three music award shows, showcasing their status as a global top artist.

At the 2024 BBMAs, Stray Kids is set to deliver high-energy performances of two of their biggest hits from this year. Last year, they made history as the first fourth-generation K-pop boy group to win the Top K-Pop Album award, and this year, they have received nominations in four categories: Top Duo/Group, Top K-Pop Album, and Top Global K-Pop Artist. Notably, they are the only K-pop artists nominated for the Top K-Pop Album category with two mini-albums, '樂-STAR' (락스타) and 'ATE' (에이트), and they will compete against global artists like blink-182, Coldplay, Fuerza Regida, and Linkin Park in the Top Duo/Group category.

Stray Kids have achieved remarkable success on the Billboard charts. Since the release of their mini-album 'ODDINARY' in March 2022, they have made history by debuting five consecutive works at number one on the 'Billboard 200', including 'MAXIDENT', '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', '樂-STAR', and 'ATE'. Their latest title track 'Chk Chk Boom' from the album 'ATE' has successfully entered the 'Hot 100' chart, marking their third entry following '락 (樂)' and the English single 'Lose My Breath (Feat. Charlie Puth)'.

The group has also been recognized at various international music awards. In September 2023, they won the Best K-Pop category at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' for their title track '특' from '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', and they celebrated wins at the '2024 People's Choice Awards' in February and the '2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards' in April. Additionally, their song 'SLASH' featured in the 'Deadpool & Wolverine' soundtrack has been nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media at the 67th Grammy Awards.

Stray Kids will release their new project, SKZHOP HIPTAPE '合 (HOP)' along with the title track 'Walkin On Water' on December 13 at 2 PM EST (midnight KST).
