Stray Kids Shine on IFPI Global Charts for Three Consecutive Years

Stray Kids have made their mark on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) annual global charts for the third consecutive year, solidifying their status as a 'Global Top Artist.' According to an announcement made on February 18, 2025, via the IFPI's official website and social media channels, Stray Kids ranked in the top 10 across three categories: the Global Artist Chart, Global Album Chart, and Global Album Sales Chart for 2024. The IFPI's global charts are based on worldwide physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures.

Stray Kids achieved 5th place on the Global Artist Chart, marking their third consecutive year on the list since their debut in 2022. They also secured 10th place on the Global Album Chart with their mini-album 'ATE' (에이트). The group has consistently showcased their popularity, having previously excelled with albums like 'MAXIDENT' (맥시던트) in 2022 and '★★★★★ (5-STAR)' (파이브스타) and '樂-STAR' (락스타) in 2023.

On the Global Album Sales Chart, both of their albums released last year made it into the rankings, with 'ATE' at 5th and the SKZHOP HIPTAPE (스키즈합 힙테이프) '合 (HOP)' (합 (합)) at 6th, marking their third consecutive year on this chart as well. Stray Kids previously achieved 4th place with 'MAXIDENT' and 8th with 'ODDINARY' (오디너리) in 2022, setting the highest rankings for a 4th generation K-pop group and being the only group to place two albums in the top 10. In 2023, they continued their success with '★★★★★ (5-STAR)' and '樂-STAR' ranking 2nd and 5th, respectively.

Recently, Stray Kids have celebrated several milestones, including surpassing 30 million album shipments in Japan and Korea, receiving nominations for the iHeartRadio Music Awards for two consecutive years, and achieving their eighth gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). They successfully held their fifth official fan meeting, 'SKZ 5'CLOCK' (스키즈 파이브어클락), from February 14 to 16 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. Looking ahead, they will embark on their world tour 'dominATE' (도미네이트) starting in March, featuring a large-scale stadium tour.

The tour will kick off on March 27-28 at Estadio Bicentenario La Florida in Santiago and will span 34 shows across 22 regions in Latin America, Japan, North America, and Europe, concluding on July 30 at Stadio Olimpico in Rome. This tour is expected to attract 2.2 million fans, setting a new record for the highest attendance for a single K-pop tour.
