Stray Kids' Felix Joins UNICEF Team Campaign

Felix of Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈) is set to participate in the 'UNICEF Team' campaign organized by the Korean Committee for UNICEF. The committee announced on December 23 that Felix will join this initiative, which has been running since 2018, aimed at uniting efforts to support children worldwide affected by war, disasters, and poverty.

As a goodwill ambassador for the Korean Committee, Felix will collaborate with other notable figures, including international UNICEF ambassador Kim Yuna, fellow ambassador Kim Hyesoo, and Faker, a digital content creator known for promoting UNICEF. Through his involvement in the 'UNICEF Team' campaign, Felix aims to raise awareness and encourage support for children in need.

Joo Mi-jin, the Secretary-General of the Korean Committee for UNICEF, expressed gratitude to the four ambassadors for their valuable talents and genuine affection for children. She emphasized the importance of the campaign, especially in light of the ongoing challenges faced by children globally due to war, disasters, and poverty. The promotional video and photos featuring the 'UNICEF Team' bracelets will be available on the Korean Committee for UNICEF's website, as well as in the January 2025 issue of Marie Claire magazine and on their social media channels.

Felix has consistently demonstrated his commitment to making a positive impact through UNICEF. Earlier this year, he donated 100 million KRW to support children in Laos suffering from poor nutrition and sanitation, becoming the youngest member of the 'Honors Club,' which recognizes donors contributing over 100 million KRW. In February, he visited UNICEF's projects in Laos to support programs addressing malnutrition and sanitation, and on his birthday, September 15, he donated an additional 50 million KRW to UNICEF. His dedication to supporting children's growth led to his appointment as a goodwill ambassador for the Korean Committee for UNICEF in September.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids has been enjoying immense global popularity, recently achieving six consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with their new album SKZHOP HIPTAPE (스키즈합 힙테이프) '合 (HOP)' and the title track 'Walkin On Water' (워킨 온 워터).
