Stray Kids' Felix Injured in Traffic Accident, Misses Fan Meeting

Felix, a member of the popular K-pop group Stray Kids, was unable to attend the fan meeting scheduled for today due to a traffic accident. On February 16, the group's agency provided an update on Felix's health status following the incident.

The agency stated, "We would like to inform fans about Felix's health condition. After the accident, he underwent an X-ray at a nearby hospital, which indicated a fracture. We communicated this information to fans. We initially visited several emergency rooms for a quick response, but due to the late weekend hours, some facilities lacked specialized medical staff, and the tests took longer than expected. We appreciate the fans' understanding regarding the delay in our communication."

They continued, "Following the initial assessment, medical professionals determined that more detailed examinations were necessary. Felix underwent an MRI and was evaluated by specialists. The results revealed that the fracture line seen in the initial X-ray was an old injury from childhood, and currently, a nerve near that area is being compressed."

The agency assured fans that Felix will receive appropriate treatment based on the medical team's recommendations and that they are prioritizing his health and recovery. They are working closely with medical professionals to provide the best care possible.

The agency also expressed their sincere apologies to fans for the sudden news and emphasized their commitment to Felix's swift recovery.

Earlier, the agency announced that Felix was involved in a traffic accident while returning home after completing his schedule on February 15, leading to his absence from the fan meeting titled 'Stray Kids 5TH FANMEETING 'SKZ 5'CLOCK,' which is taking place from February 14 to 16 at the Incheon Inspire Arena.
