Stray Kids Dominates Billboard Charts with Three-Week Streak

Stray Kids have kicked off the new year with a bang, maintaining their momentum by securing the top spot on two Billboard album charts for three consecutive weeks. According to an official announcement from Billboard on January 7, the group achieved this feat with their album SKZHOP HIPTAPE '合 (HOP)', which debuted at number one on the 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Album Sales' charts for the week of January 11. This marks the first time Stray Kids has achieved three weeks at number one in both categories, making them the second K-pop act to reach this milestone after BTS, further solidifying their global presence.

The 'Top Album Sales' and 'Top Current Album Sales' charts rank albums based on weekly sales in the U.S., with the latter focusing on albums released within the last 18 months. Stray Kids' new release '合 (HOP)' sold approximately 187,000 copies in its first week, propelling it to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, showcasing their strong influence in the local music scene.

With '合 (HOP)', Stray Kids has now achieved their sixth number one on the Billboard 200, making them the first artist in the chart's 69-year history to debut six consecutive albums at number one. In the latest chart update for January 11, the album is positioned at number 13.

In addition to their chart success, Stray Kids will hold their fifth official fan meeting, 'Stray Kids 5TH FANMEETING 'SKZ 5'CLOCK'', from February 14 to 16 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. The final day of the event will also feature a paid online live broadcast via the Beyond LIVE platform. Prior to this, they will kick off their largest world tour 'dominATE' in Hong Kong on January 18-19, followed by solo concerts in 20 major stadiums across Latin America, North America, and Europe starting in March.
