Stray Kids Achieve Historic Success on Billboard Charts

Stray Kids have made waves on the Billboard charts, securing their sixth consecutive number one on the Billboard 200 with their latest album, SKZHOP HIPTAPE '合 (HOP)', released on December 13. According to Billboard's official announcement on December 24, the album and its title track 'Walkin On Water' have ranked in 14 categories on the latest charts set to be published on December 28.

In its debut week, '合 (HOP)' sold approximately 187,000 copies in the U.S., propelling it to the top of the Billboard 200. This remarkable achievement marks the first time in history that an artist has debuted six consecutive albums at number one since the chart's inception in March 1956. Stray Kids' previous releases include the mini-album 'ODDINARY', 'MAXIDENT', the third studio album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', and the mini-album 'ATE'.

Additionally, Stray Kids topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart, marking their fifth time achieving simultaneous number one status on both the Billboard 200 and Artist 100. They also dominated six other charts, including Top Current Album Sales, Top Album Sales, World Albums, and World Digital Song Sales, with several solo tracks from the members ranking high in the World Digital Song Sales category.

This year, Stray Kids have continued to make significant strides in the global music scene with their self-produced songs. Their English single 'Lose My Breath (Feat. Charlie Puth)' and the title track 'Chk Chk Boom' from the mini-album 'ATE' entered the Billboard Hot 100, marking their third appearance on this chart. Recently, they won the Top Global K-Pop Artist award at the Billboard Music Awards for the second consecutive year.

Their latest project, '合 (HOP)', infused with the group's unique musical synergy and hip-hop energy, is also gaining immense popularity. The album debuted at number 91 on the UK Official Albums Chart and topped various charts, including the Hanteo weekly physical album chart and the Circle Chart retail album chart. The new single 'Walkin On Water' has reached the top of the iTunes Top Songs chart in 25 regions, including Mexico and Chile, and has also topped the Spotify Top Songs Global and USA charts.

Looking ahead, Stray Kids are set to embark on their largest world tour, 'DOMINATE', starting with performances in Hong Kong on January 18-19, 2025, followed by shows in 20 major stadiums across Latin America, North America, and Europe beginning in March.
