According to FlixPatrol, a site that tracks streaming platform viewership, Squid Game 3 secured the number one spot in the TV show category across 93 countries as of June 28. It's important to note that FlixPatrol's statistics are unofficial and differ from Netflix's own viewing metrics.

Given its current popularity, Squid Game 3 is expected to maintain a strong position in Netflix's weekly rankings, set to be released on July 2.

The previous installments of the Squid Game series have set remarkable records in Netflix's history. Season 1 garnered an impressive 265.2 million views and 2.2 billion hours of watch time within the first 28 days of its release, making it the top show across both English and non-English categories. Season 2 followed with 192.6 million views and 1.38 billion hours, ranking second in the non-English category and third overall.
