Special Prosecutor Schedules Second Inquiry for Former President Yoon

The special prosecutor, Cho Eun-seok, investigating former President Yoon Seok-yeol for charges of insurrection and foreign exchange violations, has reportedly notified Yoon's legal team to appear for a second inquiry on July 1 at 9 AM. After completing the first round of questioning on June 28, the prosecutor's office initially requested Yoon to return for a second session on June 30 at 8 AM. However, Yoon's team expressed concerns about the short notice, arguing that it would hinder their ability to prepare a defense. They requested to postpone the inquiry until after July 3, considering the ongoing criminal trial schedule. In response, the special prosecutor rescheduled the second inquiry to July 1, a day later than originally planned, and communicated this via text message. Yoon's legal representatives are currently deliberating whether to comply with the newly set date for the second inquiry.
