Actor Song Seung-heon is currently reviewing an offer to star in the new drama 'My Precious Star' (금쪽같은 내 스타). On January 14, his agency, King Kong by Starship, confirmed that he is considering the project.
'My Precious Star' tells the story of a top actress, who, after winning the youngest Best Actress award, faces a life-changing accident on the peak of her career, leading to a narrative that spans 25 years. The drama is expected to be a romantic comedy focusing on the comeback of a 'career-disrupted top star.'
The series is directed by Choi Young-hoon, known for his work on 'Pandora: Beneath the Paradise,' 'One the Woman,' 'Good Casting,' and 'Sisters on the Road.' It marks a reunion with writer Park Ji-ha, who penned 'Good Casting.'
According to the agency, Song Seung-heon has been offered the role of the male lead, a bachelor detective named Dokgo-cheol. Following his active participation in the drama 'Player 2' and the film 'Hidden Face' last year, fans are eager to see if he will return to the screen with this new project.
