Song Kang-ho to Make Special Appearance in Netflix's 'Beef' Season 2

Actor 송강호 is set to appear in the second season of the Netflix series '성난 사람들' (Beef). On December 20, his agency, Sublime, confirmed to OSEN that 송강호 will make a special guest appearance in the upcoming season. Earlier that day, Deadline reported that the 'Parasite' star would join the cast of 'Beef' Season 2.

'성난 사람들' is a black comedy that follows the escalating conflict between the main characters, Danny and Amy, which begins with a minor road rage incident. The first season garnered significant acclaim, winning eight Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting awards for both lead actors.

The second season will explore the story of a young couple who witness a shocking altercation between a wealthy businessman and his wife, leading to a game of favors and coercion within the elite world of a country club and its billionaire owner. The season will consist of eight episodes, produced by 이성진 and A24, with returning executive producers from Season 1, including Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, and Jake Schreier.

Additionally, the acclaimed actress 윤여정, known for her roles in 'Minari' and 'Pachinko', will also join the cast of Season 2, portraying a billionaire character.
