Song Kang-ho Joins Netflix Series 'Angry People' Season 2

Actor Song Kang-ho is set to make a special appearance in the second season of the Netflix series 'Angry People' (성난 사람들). On December 20, Sublime announced that Song will be featured in the upcoming season. According to Deadline, the star of 'Parasite' will join the cast of 'Angry People 2'. The series, which consists of ten episodes, revolves around individuals who spiral into chaos after a minor incident in a supermarket parking lot leads to a quest for revenge. Directed, written, and produced by Korean-American creator Lee Sung-jin, the show also features actors like Steven Yeun and other Korean talent. The first season garnered significant acclaim, winning multiple awards at the Golden Globes and Emmys, showcasing the strength of Korean creators in the industry.
In Season 2, Youn Yuh-jung will also join the cast, alongside new additions such as Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Kayli Tran. Youn will portray a Korean billionaire who owns a country club. The storyline will follow a young couple who inadvertently witness a shocking fight between a couple at the country club run by Youn's character. The second season will consist of eight episodes, with Lee Sung-jin returning as director, and Steven Yeun and Ali Wong serving as executive producers, continuing their roles from the first season.
