Song Ji-hyo Brings Laughter on Running Man with Her Quirky Charm

In the latest episode of SBS's Running Man, which aired on January 26, 2025, Song Ji-hyo showcased her playful and carefree personality, bringing plenty of laughs to viewers. The production team set a mission for the arriving members, asking them to choose envelopes labeled with Hangul and Hanja instead of the usual game pieces. When she discovered that her envelope contained Hanja, Song Ji-hyo exclaimed, "I don’t know Hanja!" but quickly demonstrated her ability to read numerical Hanja with ease. Sporting a lion's mane hairstyle, her appearance drew laughter from the crew, prompting her to joke, "Did my hair look that strange? I’ll prepare better next time!"

The members were tasked with collecting cards that referred to snakes, followed by a warm-up quiz where they had to guess the price of a cost-effective buffet. They headed to a Chinese buffet as their first stop, where only the team that guessed closest to the actual price would get to eat.

During the guessing game, Ji-yeon suggested a price of 17,900 won, claiming that her senior Yoo Jae-suk was out of touch with current prices. Yoo Jae-suk guessed 15,000 won, but the actual price turned out to be 11,000 won, which had increased by 1,000 won from the previous year. The price raised concerns among the members, with many exclaiming, "Boss, you can’t do this!"

Kim Jong-kook, who guessed 12,000 won, was the closest and thus the only one allowed to eat. Yoo Jae-suk teased Ji-yeon, saying, "You should be quiet now; it’s the clueless Kim Jong-kook who got it right." In response, Kim Jong-kook confidently remarked, "Everyone here is so out of touch with reality; you should go out more often!"
