Song Hye-kyo Praises Jeon Yeo-been at 'The Black Nuns' Press Conference

On December 16, 2024, a press conference for the upcoming film 'The Black Nuns' was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. During the event, actress Song Hye-kyo expressed her satisfaction with her collaboration with Jeon Yeo-been. She stated, 'Jeon Yeo-been is like my savior. Without Mikaela, Unia would have been unable to do anything on her own.'

Set to be released on January 24, 2025, 'The Black Nuns' tells the story of individuals who engage in forbidden rituals to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. The film is directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae, known for his work on 'The Fixer' and 'Count.'

In the film, Song Hye-kyo plays Sister Unia, who goes to great lengths to prepare for the ritual to save the boy. She described her character as 'determined and willing to do anything to save a life,' noting that Unia engages in actions that a nun typically should not, yet possesses a strong sincerity.

When asked about her first experience working with Jeon Yeo-been, Song Hye-kyo replied, 'It was wonderful.' She shared that she had always wanted to work with Yeo-been and had heard many good things about her from mutual friends. 'Meeting her and working together was even better than I expected. While Yeo-been says I was a source of strength for her, she was a tremendous support for me. She feels like my savior. Without Mikaela, Unia would have been helpless.'
