Song Ga-in Reflects on Her Supportive Role as a Sibling

On February 15, KBS 2TV's entertainment program 'Immortal Songs' aired its second part of the New Year special featuring Shin Soo-bong and Song Ga-in. During the episode, Song Ga-in appeared alongside her older brother, Jo Seong-jae.
Song Ga-in shared, "I performed traditional Korean music with my brother. During tough times, I relied heavily on him while we lived and attended school together from high school through college."
When MC Shin Dong-yeop asked about their childhood relationship, Jo Seong-jae humorously admitted, "We fought a lot when we were young, and I often ended up getting hit by her."
Song Ga-in added, "I started living on my own in high school and took care of household duties. When my brother had evening study sessions, I would pack him a lunch after school. I was such a good little sister!"
She continued, "When I got to college, people would ask if I was Jo Seong-jae's sister. When I said yes, no one approached me because they were all scared of him!" To this, Jo Seong-jae retorted, "That’s not true at all; she’s just making excuses for me!"
When asked about the changes in her life after achieving success as a singer, Song Ga-in replied, "I have no worries or concerns anymore. Financially, things are better too."
In response to Lee Chan-won’s question about whether she supports her brother, Jo Seong-jae humorously stated, "She cheers me on and even gives me allowance, so I listen to her!"
