Son Tae-young Shares Secrets to Her Happy Marriage with Kwon Sang-woo

On February 15, Son Tae-young shared insights into her successful marriage with Kwon Sang-woo during a recent vlog on her channel, 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young.' The video, titled "Son Tae-young's Tokyo Vlog: Shopping at Chanel and Local Food Gems," featured her shopping and dining experiences in Tokyo.

While discussing her son, Ri-ho, the production team noted his shyness, to which Son Tae-young humorously admitted, "He takes after me; I'm shy too." When asked about Kwon Sang-woo's social demeanor, she revealed, "He’s just like me; we’re both ISFJ types."

The crew inquired about Kwon's behavior at a recent wedding, and Son Tae-young explained that despite being shy, he warms up quickly in a friendly atmosphere. When asked if they have any disagreements, she joked, "We always say, 'We don’t match, we don’t match.'"

Reflecting on their 17 years together, she shared, "We’ve learned to let things go. We don’t have the energy to fight anymore. When we were younger, we had our differences, but now we understand each other better. It’s just easier to move on."

Son Tae-young also mentioned that they went through a rough patch in the early years of their marriage but have since learned to navigate challenges together. "We’ve fought and then gone to bed together, but we’ve grown past that."

Interestingly, she noted that friends often comment on how Kwon Sang-woo seems to love her more, suggesting they rank among the top celebrity couples globally. "People say I’m the envy of many women, and I should accept that as my fate," she concluded, highlighting their strong bond.
