Actor Son Seok-koo has made a generous donation to the Daejeon Veterans Home for the second year in a row, supporting the nation's veterans. On December 16, the Korea Veterans Welfare and Medical Service (Chairman Yoon Jong-jin) announced that Son contributed 20 million won from his personal funds, along with an additional 10 million won from his agency, Stannum, bringing the total donation to 30 million won. Last year, he also donated 20 million won to the same facility.

In a statement, Son expressed his desire to give back to the community, saying, "I decided to donate again this year to improve the environment of the Daejeon Veterans Home, an institution that cares for our nation's veterans, in gratitude for the unwavering support from the public."

The Daejeon Veterans Home, established in 2012 with funding from the lottery fund, serves both veterans and local residents, providing care for approximately 200 elderly individuals suffering from age-related illnesses. Director Byeon Mi-a of the Daejeon Veterans Home expressed gratitude for Son's continued support, stating, "We are thankful for our special connection with actor Son Seok-koo. This donation will be used to enhance the living conditions for our elderly veterans, ensuring they can enjoy a comfortable retirement."

Having spent his childhood in Daejeon before debuting in the entertainment industry, Son Seok-koo has consistently worked in various projects, including 'The Best Divorce', '60 Days, Designated Survivor', and 'Melo is My Nature'. He gained significant fame through the drama 'My Liberation Notes' and has proven his acting skills and popularity with successful films like 'The Outlaws 2' and the series 'D.P.'.

Currently, he is set to release the film 'It's Okay, It's Okay, It's Okay!', which tells the story of individuals who, while struggling alone, find happiness together.
