Son Seok-koo and Choi Hee-seo to Star in Indie Film 'Bedford Park', Marking Their Hollywood Debut

Actors Son Seok-koo (손석구) and Choi Hee-seo (최희서) are set to make their Hollywood debut by starring in the American indie film 'Bedford Park'. According to a report from Variety on January 21, 2025, the film explores the lives of a Korean-American woman torn between familial loyalty and passion, and a lonely former wrestler seeking to rectify his troubled past. 'Bedford Park' is the directorial debut of Stephanie Ahn, who is also the writer and editor of the film, and production is scheduled to begin in New Jersey next year. Following the announcement, Choi Hee-seo expressed her excitement on social media, stating, 'For me, 'Bedford Park' is like the light shining through the fence in a photo I took on the audition day, May 29, 2019. After six years, we are all ready, and I couldn't be more grateful.' Previously, Son Seok-koo and Choi Hee-seo have collaborated in the play 'The Army on the Tree' (나무 위의 군대).
