Actress Kim Tae-ri is set to reveal a new side of herself in Netflix's first Korean animated series, 'This Star Needs' (이 별에 필요한), directed by Han Ji-won and produced by Climax Studio. The show will premiere on May 30, 2025. 

Set in Seoul in 2050, 'This Star Needs' tells the romantic story of astronaut Nan-young, who dreams of exploring Mars, and Jay, a musician who has temporarily set aside his aspirations. A 40-year-old man of Chinese nationality has been arrested for threatening citizens with a knife at Dongtan Lake Park in Hwaseong, South Korea. On May 21, the Suwon District Court's Chief Judge Lee Seong-yul approved the arrest warrant, citing concerns over the suspect's potential flight risk and evidence tampering. The incident occurred around 4:03 AM on May 19, when the suspect, identified as A, allegedly threatened five individuals, including men and women in their twenties, while intoxicated and armed with three knives. Fortunately, the victims managed to escape without serious injuries. However, one victim, referred to as B, sought refuge in a nearby pub, prompting A to pursue him, leading to a struggle at the entrance. A later claimed that he intended to scare the group due to their noise and had no intention to kill, asserting that he used knives from his job as a restaurant chef. The police plan to transfer A to the prosecution soon.

However, the prosecutors have yet to secure the actual bags.
