Son Dam-bi Expresses Readiness for Motherhood

On February 19, Son Dam-bi shared her thoughts on preparing for motherhood during a discussion on her YouTube channel, '담비손 DambiXon.' Reflecting on her life after marriage, she expressed her readiness to become a mother, stating, "I am ready. I have become prepared to be a mom since meeting my husband."
During the episode, Son Dam-bi reminisced about her early acting career, recalling the challenges she faced. She mentioned her debut role in the drama 'Dream' (드림), saying, "It wasn't easy starting out. I played the lead, but I was terrible. I still can't watch it. It was a chaotic time with script readings."
She humorously noted that she starred alongside Jo Jin-mo (주진모) and Kim Bum (김범), but the project didn't leave a lasting impression on audiences, especially as it aired around the same time as 'Queen Seondeok' (선덕여왕).
Son Dam-bi reflected on her growth as an actress, stating, "Working on 'Dream' made me painfully aware of my unpreparedness. I realized I needed to rethink my approach and sought out acting teachers for guidance."
Her second project, 'Light and Shadow' (빛과 그림자), marked a turning point in her mindset about acting. She learned a lot from her co-star Ahn Jae-wook (안재욱) and appreciated the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals. "The long duration of the project allowed me to discover the joy of acting, and I became very close with my co-stars. I am grateful to my seniors, and I even received an excellence award during that time," she shared.
While she hasn't participated in numerous projects, she enjoyed the action scenes in 'Mrs. Cop 2' (미세스캅2) and has also ventured into film, short dramas, and theater. Additionally, she has worked as a beauty and fashion MC.
In her personal life, Son Dam-bi noted significant changes in her relationships and personality since marrying Lee Gyu-hyuk (이규혁). She emphasized the importance of patience and self-reflection, saying, "I've learned to take my time and not rush things."
