So Yu-jin Shares Her Experience of Having Children Close in Age

On the February 15 episode of MBC's entertainment program, 'Point of Omniscient Interference' (전지적 참견 시점), actress Lee Yeon-hee and 'Chungju Man' Kim Seon-tae made guest appearances. After a theater rehearsal, Lee Yeon-hee visited actress So Yu-jin alongside director Jang Jin. The two actresses, who connected through the play 'King Lear', shared a warm rapport. So Yu-jin described Lee Yeon-hee as 'like a big brother,' noting their age difference and how quickly Lee Yeon-hee became familiar with her, saying, 'I was taken aback for about two days, but then I got used to it.'
So Yu-jin also opened up about her childbirth experiences, mentioning that she was filming commercials just ten days before giving birth to her third child and continued to work shortly after. Reflecting on her first child, she admitted to feeling very depressed and experiencing postpartum depression, saying, 'I felt awkward with the baby. I thought I could only be a mom with a child now.' She expressed admiration for Lee Yeon-hee's quick return to work, calling her 'strong.'
She recounted a moment eight months after her first child was born when she cried to her husband, who is a businessman and prefers to solve problems. He asked her if there was anything he could do, and that day they decided to have another child. After the birth of her second child, she received a role that required her to play a mother of three, which helped her relax about her situation.
Lee Yeon-hee mentioned that she always travels with her husband after finishing a project, while So Yu-jin humorously expressed feelings of betrayal, noting that her husband Baek Jong-won often travels for work, blending business with leisure, which elicited laughter from the audience.
