The agency confirmed that they have initiated legal procedures in response to false information, defamation, and slander directed at the group.

SM stated, "We have confirmed that false facts and malicious slander regarding our artist Hearts2Hearts are being posted and disseminated. We are taking legal action against these matters. The act of fabricating false information or spreading unverified rumors is a clear illegal act, and we will respond strictly without leniency or settlement. We will continue to do our utmost to protect our artists."

Hearts2Hearts, an eight-member multinational girl group under SM Entertainment, made their debut on February 24 with their first single, 'The Chase.' However, they have faced a wave of unverified rumors about their past, prompting SM to emphasize their commitment to addressing these falsehoods.
