SM Entertainment Unveils Future Trainees at SM Town Live 2025

On January 12, 2025, during the 'SM Town Live 2025 [The Culture, The Future] in Seoul' concert held at the Gocheok Sky Dome, SM Entertainment introduced the trainees who are set to lead the company into the next 30 years. This concert celebrated SM's 30th anniversary, showcasing the rich musical heritage that has established the foundation of global K-pop. The event featured performances from current SM artists as well as those from affiliated labels, generating significant excitement among fans.

The highlight of the evening was the debut of 25 trainees, who captivated K-pop enthusiasts with their impressive visuals and synchronized dance moves. The opening performance featured members like TVXQ's Hero Jaejoong, NCT's Taeyong, and RISE's Seongchan, all embodying the quintessential 'SM look'.

The trainees performed SHINee's hit song 'Lucifer' as a 9-member group and EXO's 'Growl' as an 11-member ensemble. As the concert drew to a close, they collectively showcased iconic tracks from SM's boy group history, including EXO's 'Overdose', Super Junior's 'Twins', TVXQ's 'The Way You Are', and SHINee's 'Sherlock'.

These trainees are expected to continue the legacy of SM's boy groups, following in the footsteps of legendary acts such as H.O.T., Shinhwa, Fly to the Sky, TVXQ, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, NCT, and RISE.
