SM Entertainment Celebrates 30 Years with Special SBS Program

SM Entertainment (SM) is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special two-part program on SBS titled K-POP 더 비기닝: SMTOWN 30. This program will reflect on SM's remarkable journey over the past three decades, which has influenced the global K-POP scene. The first part will feature stories from legendary SM artists who sparked the K-POP phenomenon, while the second part will explore SM's unique musical identity and future vision.

Today, January 24, at 11 AM, the official SBSNOW social media channels released a teaser for the first part, hosted by BoA and SHINee's Key, showcasing a series of videos that highlight SM's 30-year history.

This broadcast will also include vibrant performances from the recent SMTOWN LIVE 2025 [THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE] in SEOUL, held on January 11-12 at the Gocheok Sky Dome, along with candid interviews and never-before-seen footage from artists across generations, promising to captivate global fans.

K-POP 더 비기닝: SMTOWN 30 will air its first part on January 28 at 6 PM, followed by the second part on February 1 at 6:20 PM on SBS, offering a rich visual and auditory experience that is expected to enthrall viewers during the Lunar New Year holiday.

Additionally, SM will release a commemorative album titled 2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE on February 14 to mark this significant milestone.
