Singer Seo In-young Divorces After Just Over a Year of Marriage

Singer Seo In-young (서인영), 40, has officially ended her marriage just over a year after tying the knot. On November 28, her agency, SW Entertainment, announced that she has completed a consensual divorce. The agency clarified, "As reported by various media outlets, there were no issues such as fault on either side during the divorce process."

They further stated, "The couple has amicably agreed to part ways and will support each other in their future endeavors."

SW Entertainment also mentioned that Seo In-young is preparing for a comeback in her music career, with plans to expand into global markets including the United States, Japan, and China. They expressed their apologies to fans who may have been worried due to recent reports, urging them to continue supporting Seo In-young as she resumes her activities.

Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman in February of last year, but rumors of divorce surfaced twice, in September of the same year and again in March of this year. When the first divorce rumors emerged, she acknowledged some discord with her husband in an interview but clarified that they were not getting divorced. During the second wave of rumors, her agency stated, "This is a personal matter, and we cannot comment further at this time."

Seo In-young debuted in 2002 as a member of the girl group Jewelry (쥬얼리) and gained popularity with hits like "One More Time" (원 모어 타임), "I Really Like You" (네가 참 좋아), and "Superstar" (슈퍼스타). As a solo artist, she has released successful tracks such as "Cinderella" (신데렐라) and "Teach Me" (가르쳐 줘요).

She is set to make her comeback in January with a song composed by Yoon Il-sang (윤일상).
