Singer Park Ki-young's Divorce from Tango Dancer Revealed

The news of singer Park Ki-young's divorce has come to light, revealing that she and her tango dancer husband, Han Geol-eum, parted ways two years ago after five years of marriage. On March 26, Park Ki-young's agency confirmed the split, stating, "It is true that Park Ki-young has divorced Han Geol-eum, although we are unsure of the exact date, it was around two years ago."
Park Ki-young and Han Geol-eum first appeared together on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend' in May 2016, where they delivered a stunning tango performance of Um Jung-hwa's 'The Rose of Betrayal.'
Their relationship evolved from a mentor-student dynamic to a romantic one, culminating in their marriage in 2017. At the time, Park Ki-young expressed her joy on social media, stating, "Today, I am marrying my teacher, Han Geol-eum. I am happy and excited to share this good news. Thank you, and have a great day!"
However, after approximately five years of marriage, they decided to end their relationship around 2023. Despite the emotional toll of the divorce, Park Ki-young continued her career, releasing her 25th-anniversary best album 'Love You More.'
