Singer Maya Transitions to Farming Life

On January 3, singer Maya shared updates about her new life as a farmer on her personal social media account. She mentioned, "I went out to buy a compost barrel. I'm planning to make sesame seed compost and even urine compost. I'm also collecting herbal medicine remnants from the clinic. I aim to transform my lawn into a Cuban-style garden and grow sweet potato vines. My heart is already set on welcoming spring."
In her profile, Maya hinted at her retirement, stating, "I have completely stepped away from broadcasting. I strive to live a happy life, understanding the truth and avoiding foolishness."
Maya debuted in 2003 with her first album, 'Born to Do It,' and has released hits like 'Cool 하게,' '아래로,' '못다 핀 꽃 한송이,' '나를 외치다,' '그 흔한 반지도,' and '위풍당당.' She also appeared in various dramas, including 'Bodyguard,' 'Magic,' 'Family Honor,' 'Minjok Family,' 'The Dream of the King,' and 'Ugly Alert,' but has not been active in the entertainment industry since 2013.
Now, as she embraces her new role as a farmer, Maya is embarking on a second chapter in her life. Recently, she was spotted attending a rally for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol, and she is actively pursuing a project focused on living healthily and happily.
