Singer Eun Jong Releases Evidence Amid Divorce Controversy with Yoon Ddan Ddan

Singer Eun Jong (은종) has shared a video on her Instagram that allegedly shows evidence of domestic violence involving her estranged husband, Yoon Ddan Ddan (윤딴딴). The couple, who are currently undergoing divorce proceedings, have been embroiled in a public dispute, with Eun Jong stating that she has secured proof of the abuse and plans to take legal action against Yoon Ddan Ddan. This comes after Yoon Ddan Ddan claimed he acted violently in response to his wife's alleged abuse.

On June 18, Eun Jong posted a lengthy message along with a brief video clip. She explained, "I accidentally obtained evidence and am sharing a portion of the situation through this video. The original footage is quite graphic, so it has been edited, but it gives a sense of the atmosphere and flow of the violence that occurred."

The video reportedly shows a shirtless man using profanity and shaking someone's head, followed by a loud thud and a woman's voice that sounds like she is crying.

Eun Jong refuted Yoon Ddan Ddan's claims that she was the one who instigated the violence, stating, "The assertion that I lost control and engaged in unprovoked verbal and physical abuse is false. I am still undergoing mental and physical treatment due to the aftermath of the situation."

Regarding Yoon Ddan Ddan's infidelity, she revealed, "Clear evidence of his cheating was confirmed in March of last year, and shortly after, he began demanding a divorce while still involved with the other party. This marked the beginning of discussions about asset division, during which he insisted he would give me everything as a condition for the divorce."

Eun Jong emphasized that she complied with Yoon Ddan Ddan's requests regarding his career, separation, and divorce procedures, fulfilling her promises and obligations. However, she criticized his statement that he had given her everything yet was still exposed, calling it a lack of genuine remorse and accountability.

She also denied Yoon Ddan Ddan's claims of prior verbal abuse and financial burden, asserting that his statements misrepresented the facts regarding her salary, living expenses, and asset division. "I intend to hold him accountable for distorting the truth in his statements," she added.

Eun Jong concluded her post by stating that this would be her final public comment on the matter, indicating that any further necessary statements would be made through legal channels. "I believe that, even if it takes time, the truth will eventually come to light."

In a previous Instagram post on June 14, Yoon Ddan Ddan acknowledged his use of violence in response to his wife's alleged ongoing verbal abuse, expressing deep regret for his actions as a husband. He also mentioned that Eun Jong often claimed her monthly living expenses were insufficient, which contributed to his emotional and financial exhaustion.

Yoon Ddan Ddan admitted to communicating with another woman during a difficult time in their marriage, stating, "I deeply regret this without any excuses. However, I no longer had the confidence to maintain our marriage, and I ended up giving away all my cash, half of my music rights, my car, and even custody of our dog."

He expressed his apologies to fans who have supported him and promised to do his best to move forward in life, hoping to regain their trust. Yoon Ddan Ddan is known for his emotional songs such as 'I Want to See You at Night' (니가 보고 싶은 밤), 'Walking in Winter' (겨울을 걷는다), and 'When I Can't Sleep at Night' (밤에 잠이 안 올 때). Eun Jong has also touched fans with her music, including tracks like 'Smile' (웃어봐), 'Reset' (리셋), and 'The Beginning of Love Starts with Moving' (사랑의 시작은 이사에서부터).
