Shinhwa's Lee Minwoo Almost Debuted Solo, Reflects on Past with Lee Soo-man

On the December 7 episode of KBS2's 'Salim Nam 2' (살림하는 남자들 시즌2), Lee Minwoo of Shinhwa shared that he nearly debuted as a solo artist instead of continuing with the group. While cooking dishes like zucchini pancakes and vegetable fritters, he reminisced about his time at SM Entertainment.

He expressed regret, saying, "I should have cooked for Lee Soo-man during my time at SM and worked harder." His father chimed in, recalling that Lee Soo-man had mentioned he would nurture Minwoo as a solo artist. In response, Minwoo humorously apologized, stating, "I really wanted to be in a team. I love being part of Shinhwa!" He then mimicked Lee Soo-man's reaction, adding a light-hearted touch to the conversation.

In a touching moment, Minwoo's mother, who was diagnosed with early-stage dementia, shared that her spirits have improved thanks to her admiration for singer Park Seo-jin, highlighting the positive effects of fandom on mental well-being.
