SHINee's Taemin Falls Victim to Hacking Again

Taemin (태민) of the popular K-pop group SHINee has once again been targeted by hackers. On December 16, his agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment (빅플래닛메이드엔터), reported that they detected hacking activity on Taemin's official YouTube channel around 3 AM on December 15. Following the incident, the agency took immediate action to restore the channel and reported the suspicious account and related information to YouTube on the morning of the 15th.

However, on December 16 at approximately 1 PM, YouTube notified the agency that the channel had been removed due to violations of community guidelines, and it is currently closed. The agency is in discussions with YouTube to find a swift resolution, stating, "We will do our utmost to restore the channel as quickly as possible. Given the repeated hacking attempts, we will also take strong legal action, including reporting this to the police."

This is not the first time Taemin has faced such issues. In September, along with other artists from Big Planet Made Entertainment, including Lee Seung Gi (이승기), BIBI (비비), and Bad Villain (배드빌런), Taemin's official YouTube channel was suddenly renamed to 'Tesla' and featured videos of Elon Musk's speeches. All accounts were subsequently deleted, but the agency managed to recover them after promptly reporting the incident to YouTube.
