SHINee's Taemin Expands 'Ipeumeral Gaze' World Tour Due to High Demand

The popularity of Taemin's first solo world tour, 'Ipeumeral Gaze' (이페머럴 게이즈), is soaring. His agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, announced that additional seats will be made available for the Houston and Los Angeles shows after all tickets for the U.S. leg sold out. Previously, tickets for five U.S. cities—New York, Chicago, Houston, Oakland, and Los Angeles—were snapped up within an hour of release, generating significant buzz among fans. In response to the enthusiastic support from local fans, the tour will now accommodate even more attendees in both Houston and Los Angeles.

'Ipeumeral Gaze' kicked off in August in Incheon and has since successfully concluded performances in ten Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore, and Manila. Following this success, the tour has expanded to include 14 additional cities worldwide, such as Macau, Mexico City, São Paulo, Santiago, New York, Chicago, Houston, Oakland, Los Angeles, Helsinki, Frankfurt, London, Tilburg, and Paris, with tickets continuing to sell out rapidly.

The title 'Ipeumeral Gaze' translates to 'Ephemeral Gaze,' reflecting Taemin's ambition to showcase his true self amidst various perspectives. The setlist features a mix of his past hits and songs from his latest release, 'Eternal,' culminating in a powerful performance of his debut solo track, 'Danger' (괴도), which has been praised for illustrating Taemin's growth as a solo artist.

Despite being his first solo world tour, Taemin has firmly established his global influence, proving himself as a top-tier solo male artist. Fans are eagerly anticipating his future endeavors.

Tickets for the additional Houston and Los Angeles shows will go on sale on December 21 at 2 AM. Taemin will continue his world tour on January 4, 2025, at the Studio City Event Center in Macau.
