Shin Ji's Fiancé Moon Won Addresses Divorce Controversy

Moon Won, the fiancé of Shin Ji from the mixed group Koyote, has publicly addressed allegations surrounding his past divorce by releasing his divorce agreement. On July 4, News1 reported that Moon Won met with representatives from Shin Ji's agency, J Star, to clarify rumors regarding his divorce from his ex-wife, referred to as A. He reportedly submitted the divorce agreement to the agency, stating that the reason for the divorce was due to personality differences. During this meeting, he also reached out to former classmates and acquaintances from his military service to dispel rumors about his personal life.

Following the announcement of their engagement, various allegations about Moon Won's private life surfaced. On July 2, he appeared on Shin Ji's YouTube channel, "How Are You?" where he confirmed his divorce and revealed that his ex-wife is currently raising their daughter. Subsequently, online discussions arose regarding claims of premarital pregnancy, infidelity before his first marriage, bullying during school and military service, and unlicensed real estate dealings.

In response to these allegations, Moon Won took to his social media on July 3 to clarify the situation. He admitted to working in real estate without a license, explaining that it was a misguided attempt to support himself during his early career. He stated, "I will not make any excuses and sincerely apologize to everyone I have disappointed. I will take full responsibility for my actions." He confirmed that while he did marry due to a premarital pregnancy, the claims of infidelity are false. Regarding the bullying allegations, he asserted that they are untrue and expressed his willingness to provide objective evidence to prove his innocence.

Shin Ji and Moon Won are set to tie the knot in the first half of next year in Seoul. The couple has recently completed their wedding photoshoot and released their duet song "Shallakadoola" on June 26.
