Shin Gi-ru and Lee Gook-joo Tease Season 2 of 'Mukjji Ppa' at SBS Entertainment Awards

On January 29, 2025, the '2024 SBS Entertainment Awards' took place at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul, hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Lee Hyun-yi, and Jang Do-yeon. During the ceremony, the Best Chemistry Award was presented to Shin Gi-ru, Lee Gook-joo, Park Na-rae, and Pung-ja for their show 'Dungchi Survival - Mukjji Ppa'. Although Park Na-rae and Pung-ja were absent, Shin Gi-ru and Lee Gook-joo took the stage to humorously address their co-star Seo Jang-hoon.

Shin Gi-ru expressed discomfort, saying, "Seo Jang-hoon asked why he was placed on a failed program, which made me feel uneasy. He keeps mentioning that 'My Little Old Boy' has ratings in the teens." He continued, "We are not a failed program; we are a show that offers hope. The three of us, Pung-ja, Lee Gook-joo, and I, may not fit in the elevator, but we did win an award. Seo Jang-hoon will personally fund the production of Season 2!"

Lee Gook-joo added, "We often wonder why Seo Jang-hoon, who has plenty of money, is so dedicated. Last year, we thought we might win the grand prize, but it went to Tak Jae-hoon. Since only two of our members are here, I hope we can give Seo Jang-hoon some support," leading the audience in chanting his name. Seo Jang-hoon humorously responded, "Please stop. It's time to get off the stage."

'Dungchi Survival - Mukjji Ppa' premiered in October 2023 and aired until July 2024.
