On April 10, Kim Jong-kook (김종국) shared his experience of undergoing his first-ever laser treatment in a video titled "Not Power Lifting, But Skin Lifting... (Feat. Adidas, Kyler Murray)" on his YouTube channel. In the video, he visits a clinic run by his brother, who is a plastic surgeon. 

Kim explained, "I'm going to my brother's clinic for my first laser treatment. He insisted that I come in for it, saying it's better to take care of my skin while I can. It's usually expensive, but he's doing it for free, so I’m here."

클리닉에 도착하자 형은 절차에 대해 설명하며 "고주파 치료라고 생각하면 된다"고 말했다. 김종국은 호기심을 표현하며 "나는 정형외과 클리닉에서 부상 치료를 위해서만 고주파 치료를 받아봤다. 미용 목적으로도 효과가 있나?"라고 물었다.

형은 치료 일정을 추천하며 "보통 한 달 간격으로 세 번 시작하고, 그 후에는 3개월마다 계속한다. 긴장 효과를 느낄 것이고, 수술과는 달리 눈에 띄지 않을 것이다. 다음 날 출근해도 아무도 눈치채지 못할 것이다"라고 말했다.

김종국은 "송지효가 600회의 울세라 치료 후 얼굴이 너무 달라 보였다고 말한 것이 기억난다. 나에게는 그런 일이 일어나지 않겠지?"라고 회상했다. 형은 "그것에 대해 걱정할 필요 없다"고 안심시켜 웃음을 자아냈다.

Additionally, police have conducted a joint investigation at the accident site and are currently evaluating whether to apply the Serious Accident Punishment Act in this case.

MOMOLAND Reunites After Two Years with New Contract

The investigation into allegations of preferential hiring at Thai airline, Thai AirAsia, has led prosecutors to formally charge 서모 (Seo Mo), the former son-in-law of ex-President Moon Jae-in, with bribery. As of April 11, 2025, the Jeonju District Prosecutor's Office has classified Seo as a suspect, applying the same charges previously leveled against Moon's daughter, 문다혜 (Moon Da-hye), who was also transitioned from a witness to a suspect in the case.

Currently, the investigation involves six individuals, including Moon Jae-in, Moon Da-hye, Seo, former lawmaker 이상직 (Lee Sang-jik) for bribery, 박석호 (Park Seok-ho), the CEO of Thai AirAsia for breach of duty, and 조현옥 (Cho Hyun-ok), the former chief of personnel at the Blue House, who was indicted last December for abuse of power.

Prosecutors have identified the total amount of bribes received by Moon and others to be approximately 22.3 million won. Seo is accused of receiving salary and living expenses as a company executive at Thai AirAsia from July 2018 to April 2020, despite having no prior experience in the aviation industry. The investigation suggests that Seo's hiring was suspiciously timed with Lee Sang-jik's appointment as the head of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, raising concerns about potential quid pro quo arrangements.

It is believed that Moon Jae-in and his wife were initially responsible for covering the living expenses of Moon Da-hye's family, but ceased to do so after Seo secured employment, leading prosecutors to view Seo's salary as a form of bribery.

The employment of Seo and the relocation of Moon Da-hye's family to Thailand in mid-2018 were reportedly conducted in secrecy. Lee Sang-jik was appointed as the head of the Small and Medium Business Corporation in March 2018, coinciding with Seo's departure from his previous job at a gaming company. Within three months, Seo's overseas employment and relocation were facilitated, with Seo departing first, followed by Moon Da-hye, who sold her villa in Gugi-dong and moved to Thailand with her son. Employees from the Small and Medium Business Corporation allegedly assisted in their settlement in Thailand. After returning from Thailand, Moon Da-hye sparked controversy by residing with her children at the Blue House from late 2020.
