Shim Hyun-seop has become a newlywed at the age of 54. The wedding ceremony, which aired on TV CHOSUN's entertainment show '조선의 사랑꾼' (Lovers of Joseon) on May 19, showcased an impressive turnout of 1,400 guests, marking a record-breaking event.

On his wedding day, Shim expressed his excitement, sharing that his bride, Jeong Yeong-rim, has been providing him with constant support, saying, "It's the same now as it was at the beginning. She reminds me every day, 'It's time to go to work,' and 'It's time to come home.'"

Shim humorously noted that he has hosted around 820 weddings in his career, reflecting on his own upcoming ceremony with a sense of wonder. He reminisced about their second meeting, joking that Jeong had already fallen for him at that time.
