SEVENTEEN's The8 to Release First Solo EP 'STARDUST' on December 4

The8, a member of the popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN, is set to release his first solo EP titled 'STARDUST' on December 4. On November 21, The8 shared the promotional schedule for 'STARDUST' through SEVENTEEN's official social media channels. According to the schedule, the tracklist for the album will be revealed on November 23, followed by concept photos on November 24 and 26. Teaser videos are slated for release on December 2 and 3, with a performance video to follow on December 6, and visualizers on December 7 and 8.

Previously, The8 sparked curiosity by posting a photo with the words 'STARDUST' and 'Coming Soon' on his social media. The unique atmosphere captured in the photo, combined with the announcement of his upcoming release, has heightened fans' anticipation for the distinctive musical world he is set to unveil.

Since debuting with SEVENTEEN in 2015, The8 has showcased a diverse musical range, not only through group albums but also with Chinese digital singles such as 'Dreams Come True', '那幕 (Falling Down)', 'Side By Side', and '海城 (Hai Cheng)'. He has also demonstrated his skills as a singer-songwriter by writing and composing solo tracks and contributing to various group songs.

Fans are also eager to see what choreography The8 will present with his new music. As a member of SEVENTEEN's performance unit, he has previously gained attention for his contemporary dance challenges in the YouTube series 'THE 8 Contemporary ART'. SEVENTEEN will be releasing their fourth Japanese single 'Shohikigen' on November 27 and will hold a dome tour in Japan. They are also set to appear on the American ABC show 'The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular' on December 1, where they will perform 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town'.
