SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan Surprises Fans with Solo Release

SEVENTEEN member Jeonghan is set to surprise fans with a new solo track. According to Pledis Entertainment, he will release his latest song titled 'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake)' on January 27 at 6 PM KST. The title translates to 'the other half that makes me a better person,' reflecting Jeonghan's heartfelt sentiments towards his fans, known as CARATs.

As a member of SEVENTEEN's vocal team, Jeonghan has consistently showcased his unique vocal charm and emotional depth in every song. He has broadened his musical horizons by participating in various projects, including the special unit JeonghanXWonwoo's single 'THIS MAN,' his self-composed track 'Dream,' and a collaboration with former SMAP member Katori Shingo on the song 'BETTING.'

The featured artist, Omoinotake, is a Japanese piano trio formed in 2012. They gained significant attention in the local music scene with their theme song 'Ikuokukonen (幾億光年/数億光年)' for the TBS drama 'Eye Love You,' which has surpassed 300 million streams according to Billboard Japan's metrics and reached third place on the Billboard Japan annual 'Hot 100' chart.

Pledis Entertainment expressed that listeners will experience a more mature side of Jeonghan's emotions through 'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake)' and hopes the song will be a wonderful gift for CARATs.

Previously, Jeonghan began his alternative military service on September 26 of last year, becoming the first member of SEVENTEEN to fulfill his military duties.
