SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan Releases Heartfelt Solo Track 'Better Half'

On January 27, 2025, at 6 PM KST, Jeonghan of SEVENTEEN unveiled his solo track 'Better Half (feat. Omoinotake)' across various music streaming platforms, marking a special gift for his fans. The song expresses a heartfelt commitment to always move towards 'you,' despite the distance, showcased through Jeonghan's warm vocals. The title, which translates to 'the other half that makes me a better person,' reflects his sincere feelings towards the fandom, known as CARAT.
Additionally, a Japanese version of the song is set to be released on January 29. Omoinotake, the collaborating artist, praised Jeonghan's voice, stating it blended beautifully with the music and that he was deeply moved by Jeonghan's impressive Japanese vocals.
Omoinotake is a Japanese piano trio formed in 2012, known for their lyrical music. Their song 'Ikuokukonen (幾億光年/数億光年),' the theme for the TBS drama 'Eye Love You,' has achieved over 300 million streams according to Billboard Japan and won the 'Excellence Award' at the 66th Japan Record Awards.
As a member of SEVENTEEN's vocal team, Jeonghan has consistently showcased his emotional depth through his singing. He has participated in various projects, including the special unit JeonghanXWonwoo's single 'THIS MAN,' his self-composed solo track 'Dream,' and a collaboration with Katori Shingo from the Japanese group SMAP, expanding his musical repertoire.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is currently on their 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN ASIA,' having successfully performed at the Bulacan Sports Stadium in the Philippines and the National Stadium in Singapore.
