SEVENTEEN Unveils New Song 'THUNDER' at 10th Anniversary Concert

On May 25, 2025, SEVENTEEN celebrated their 10th anniversary with a grand offline event titled 'B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage @잠수교' held at the Jamseongyo Bridge in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The group kicked off the concert with a live performance of their new title track 'THUNDER' from their upcoming fifth studio album, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', set to release on May 26 at 6 PM.

During the event, member Hoshi expressed gratitude to both their fans, known as Carats, and the local citizens attending, wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable time. Mingyu shared his excitement about performing at Jamseongyo, mentioning his anticipation regarding the venue's atmosphere, including the sunset and weather conditions.

Hoshi noted that they were the first K-pop group to perform at this iconic location, attributing this milestone to the support of their fans. Dokyeom echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that such achievements wouldn't be possible without Carats.

Seungkwan remarked on the significance of performing by the Han River, a beloved spot for many citizens, and shared his own nervousness about the event, which he believed was shared by the fans as well.

After the performance of 'THUNDER', Hoshi asked the audience for their reactions, while Woozi described the song as powerful and reflective of their decade-long journey in music. He mentioned that this was the first time he felt inspired while creating a song, likening the experience to a lightning bolt of creativity.

Seungkwan highlighted the importance of the album, noting that 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' symbolizes their 10th anniversary and combines the themes of celebration and explosive growth. Mingyu explained that the album title merges 'Happy Birthday' with 'burst', representing both a celebration and a new beginning.

Vernon shared that the album features three group tracks and solo songs from all 13 members, totaling 16 songs. Mingyu also mentioned that their fellow member Wonwoo could not join the event but contributed to the album. Dino teased the audience with promises of a spectacular fountain show and fireworks, encouraging everyone to look forward to the party atmosphere of the B-DAY event.
