SEVENTEEN Claims Another Win with 'THUNDER'

On June 14, SEVENTEEN (에스쿱스, 정한, 조슈아, 준, 호시, 원우, 우지, 디에잇, 민규, 도겸, 승관, 버논, 디노) secured the top spot on MBC's Show! Music Core with their title track 'THUNDER' from their fifth studio album, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY'. Even after wrapping up their comeback activities, the group continued to add trophies to their collection, achieving a remarkable seven wins on music shows, showcasing their enduring popularity.

The group’s fifth studio album, released last month, has been a significant success, maintaining a strong presence on both domestic and international charts. 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' recorded the highest first-week sales for a K-pop album released this year and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, highlighting the global interest in SEVENTEEN.

The success of 'THUNDER' remains strong, as it topped major domestic music charts like Melon’s 'TOP 100' upon release and continued to dominate the Circle Chart's digital category. The song is also ranked 14th on Billboard's 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' and 41st on 'Global 200', further solidifying its international appeal.

In addition to their music, SEVENTEEN is generating buzz with the music video for the track 'Bad Influence (Prod. by Pharrell Williams)' and other engaging content. On June 16, the main episode and full version of 'Nana Minbak with SEVENTEEN', their collaboration with producer Na Young-seok, will be released on tvN and Weverse. Starting from June 25, their self-produced content 'GOING SEVENTEEN' will return for a new season, often referred to as the 'Infinite Challenge of K-pop'.
