SEVENTEEN Achieves Four Music Show Wins with 'THUNDER'

K-pop group SEVENTEEN (에스쿱스, 정한, 조슈아, 준, 호시, 원우, 우지, 디에잇, 민규, 도겸, 승관, 버논, 디노) has made headlines by securing four music show wins with their latest track 'THUNDER'. On June 7, they claimed the top spot on MBC's Show! Music Core with the title track from their fifth studio album, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY'. Notably, they achieved the highest score among this year's number one songs on the program, showcasing their strong popularity in both album sales and streaming.

This victory marks SEVENTEEN's fourth trophy, following wins on MBC M's Show! Champion, Mnet's M Countdown, and KBS 2TV's Music Bank. The members expressed their joy, stating, "We worked really hard on this album, and it feels great to see our efforts rewarded. We want to dedicate this award to our fans, CARAT. Thank you!"

During their performance of 'THUNDER', SEVENTEEN demonstrated the confidence and stage presence of seasoned artists, celebrating their 11th year since debut. Their ability to groove freely and enjoy the stage highlighted their experience, while their solid vocal performances during the encore further proved their exceptional live skills.

'THUNDER' is gaining traction thanks to its addictive sound and powerful choreography. Upon release, it topped the Melon Top 100 and Bugs daily charts, and it also reached the number one spot in the digital category of the latest Circle Chart (covering the period from May 25 to 31). Additionally, the song has made its mark on international charts, including the Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.), the UK Official Chart's single downloads and sales, and Billboard Japan's Hot 100, reflecting SEVENTEEN's significant global appeal.

Today (June 8), SEVENTEEN will perform 'THUNDER' on SBS's Inkigayo. They have also prepared a variety of content for fans, including the second episode of 'Nana's Guesthouse with SEVENTEEN', which will be released simultaneously on tvN and Disney+ on June 9. A longer full version will be available on Weverse on June 9 and 13. Furthermore, their self-produced content 'Going SEVENTEEN', known as the 'Infinite Challenge of K-pop', will return with a new season on June 25.
