S.E.S's Bada Publicly Supports NewJeans Amid Changes

Bada, a member of the iconic girl group S.E.S, has shown her support for the rising group NewJeans during a recent radio appearance. On November 20, she joined KBS Cool FM's 'Lee Eun-ji's Music Plaza' where she expressed her excitement about the resurgence of S.E.S's music. "The songs from the S.E.S era are trending again. Our fans have missed us a lot, so we held concerts starting this summer to reconnect with them," she shared.

During her summer solo concert, Bada covered NewJeans' hit song 'Super Shy,' which garnered significant attention. She revealed, "People might not realize it, but I was really nervous. I practiced a lot because I loved the song. It has a similar vibe to S.E.S's music, and I thought about how I would have approached it back in the day. I enjoyed practicing the parts for five members, all while cheering for NewJeans."

Bada has previously expressed her support for NewJeans and their former CEO, Min Hee-jin. She noted, "They are still very young girls. It’s incredibly challenging for them to step into the world and face the public while embracing their lives, precious time, and dreams."

Looking ahead, Bada is set to hold her winter concert titled 'I’m Your Home' at Sungshin Women's University on December 7 and 8.

In a significant development for NewJeans, Min Hee-jin announced her resignation from her position as an inside director at Ador and the termination of her shareholder agreement with HYBE on the same day.
