S.E.S. Member Shoo Transitions to Businesswoman

Shoo (유수영), a former member of the iconic girl group S.E.S., has recently shared her journey into the business world. On March 11, she posted on her Instagram, titled 'Shoo's Centella Farmer Story 3,' along with several photos showcasing her working in an office setting, radiating her signature charm.
In her post, Shoo expressed, "Last week was a whirlwind of packing. Thanks to many orders for 'Cica Jelly 1000,' I was continuously busy with packaging at the office." She added, "It was my first time handling packaging and shipping, so I was quite nervous. I made sure to double-check the addresses and carefully package the products to prevent any damage during delivery, which made the days fly by."
Shoo admitted, "I have a personality that needs to verify everything myself, which probably added to the stress." Despite the long hours and sleepless nights, she expressed gratitude for the support from her customers, saying, "I was able to work joyfully because of all the orders."
On February 18, she revealed on Instagram that she was introduced to a company through a friend, where she learned about Centella Asiatica, the key ingredient in the healing ointment Madecassol. She shared her excitement about participating in the development and investment of health products centered around this ingredient, marking her transformation into a businesswoman.
Shoo debuted in 1997 as part of S.E.S., where she and her fellow members produced hits like 'I'm Your Girl,' 'I Love You,' 'Love Again,' and 'Dreams Come True' before the group disbanded in 2002. After the group's split, Bada pursued a solo music career and musical theater, while Eugene became an actress, and Shoo appeared on various entertainment programs.
In 2010, Shoo married former basketball player Im Hyo-sung (임효성), and they have three children together. However, she faced legal issues in 2018, receiving a suspended sentence for gambling approximately 790 million won in Macau between August 2016 and May 2018.
