From December 28 to January 1, 2025, the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul will host the '2024 SeoulCon,' an influencer expo featuring over 3,500 influencers from more than 50 countries. This year's event marks the second edition, aimed at promoting Seoul's culture. The number of participating influencers has increased from last year's 3,000.

Last year, the content created by participating influencers garnered over 430 million views. Some influencers have already arrived in Seoul, sharing videos about local cuisine and K-pop. Notably, Chinese shopping influencer 'Dongseonsaeng,' who has 36.98 million followers, plans to host a shopping broadcast featuring Korean cosmetics and fashion.
Other notable participants include Indian beauty influencer Poonam Naruka, who has 6.73 million followers, Russian model Dasha Taran, Japanese comedian Uekusa Kazuhi, and Indonesian influencer Irene Suwandi, who debuted as a member of a K-pop girl group.
