Seo Ye-ji Addresses Kim Soo-hyun Dating Rumors on SNL Korea 7
On April 12, actress Seo Ye-ji made a notable appearance as the host of Coupang Play's SNL Korea 7, where she showcased her comedic skills alongside the crew. This marked her return to variety shows after an eight-year hiatus. When asked by Shin Dong-yup about her feelings on returning, Seo expressed, "I feel a bit of pressure, but I will do my best to meet everyone's expectations. I will give it my all without holding back."
In a humorous twist, she mentioned her intention to 'gaslight' the crew, referencing the controversy surrounding her. The first skit featured a parody of gaslighting, where Seo transformed into 'Seo Ye-GPT,' infiltrating Kim Won-hoon's life to the point where he felt incapable of doing anything without her. During a drinking game, she joked about the '369 game' being outdated, suggesting a cheeky '69 game' instead, and teased with a sultry lullaby, hinting that she could be even sexier.
As the skit progressed, Kim Won-hoon became enamored with a more expensive AI model, but after a colleague pointed out that he might be getting gaslit, he switched to a new AI named Lee Soo-ji. Seo attempted to win him back with charm and even danced to Jennie's 'Mantra,' but her efforts were in vain. After experiencing issues with the new AI, Kim returned to Seo.
In the second skit, 'Eve's Beauty Salon,' Seo attempted to seduce Kim Min-kyu and Kim Won-hoon. While washing Kim Won-hoon's hair, she playfully commented on his stiff neck, leading to a humorous exchange where she corrected herself from 'stiff' to 'solid.'
The third skit, 'Shy Ye-ji-chan,' had Seo playing a character experiencing love for the first time. She expressed a desire to match couple rings with Shin Dong-yup, but when he interpreted it lewdly, she was disappointed. The arrival of her ex-boyfriend revealed that her shy and innocent demeanor was a facade.
After completing all the skits, Seo reflected on her experience, stating, "The tears I shed felt deeper than those at any awards ceremony. I laughed deeply with the crew, and I am grateful to everyone who came to watch late at night. I will never forget today."
